Watch out for the other Driver! I don’t know if you’ve noticed that the other drivers on the road are doing everything but driving the car.
I have seen people on their phones talking, texting, and eating. The other day on an interstate highway I saw a guy shaving his face with an electric shaver.
I’m sure at one time or another you have heard about people injured or killed as the result of distracted driving. I also have been guilty of using the phone while driving.
Our phones are a huge part of our business, as well as family matters. I have had a couple of very close incidents in which I was very lucky. It scared me so badly that I now put the phone on silent and leave it on the seat next to me until I arrive at the next stop.
We all think that nothing can go wrong, until it does; then it’s too late. I live in Georgia where the new Distracted Driving law has been in effect for about a year, but I still see lots of drivers with the phone in their hand, not paying attention.
Be careful and take a moment to think about what could go wrong, think about your loved ones. Pull off the road if using the phone is so important.
Take care and God bless.
