Rheem dealers from across the nation gathered at the Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort in Orlando on March 26 and 27 for their 2019 National Conference. Themed “Driving Greatness”, the event featured an expanded product innovation expo filled with leading HVAC vendors, dealer support tools, and interactive competitions, all-new breakout sessions and inspiring speakers. The attendance of over 1,888 people included 247 representing Gemaire Distributors Pro Partner Florida dealers.

In his opening address, Air Force Captain Scott O’Grady captivated the audience by telling how he survived 6 days behind enemy lines after being shot down during a NATO support mission over Bosnia in 1995 and how that experience impacted his life.

The four breakout sessions focused on 1) capitalizing on the training opportunities Rheem has available, 2) how to ensure making a winning first impression and empowering your business with positive customer reviews, 3) how to use innovations to drive business into the future and 4) a step-by-step process for developing a long-term strategic revenue and profit plan, including financial budgeting considerations and capital needs planning.

These Florida contractors were recognized in the top 20 for the country: Air Around the Clock AC and Appliance, Boutwell’s Air Masters, Oscar Air Conditioning, Service Star Air Conditioning and Heating Inc, Super Heat and Air LLC and Universal Air and Heat. Gulf Shore Cooling Inc was recognized as a Top Market SHAKER Winner.

Keynote speaker Joe Gibbs closed the business session of the conference with an inspiring address lined with comical stories from his time spent with the Washington Redskins and NASCAR.

The final night featured an exclusive after party at Disney’s Hollywood Studios highlighted by a private concert Performed by the legendary rock group 38 Special.
