  • First Bosch Home Comfort portable dehumidifier lineup for consumers

  • Features a compact, lightweight footprint with an integrated handle and easy-roll casters for effortless mobility
  • Dry 2000 and Dry 4000 models cover spaces up to 1,500 and 3,000 square feet, respectively

Bosch Home Comfort, a leading source of high-quality heating, cooling and hot water systems, is expanding its retail portfolio with the Bosch Dry Series, the company’s first portable dehumidifier line for residential consumers in the U.S. and Canada. Designed for use in basements, bedrooms, living areas and other internal spaces, the Bosch Dry Series helps homeowners manage excess indoor moisture.

“The introduction of the Dry Series marks Bosch Home Comfort’s entry into the portable dehumidifier category, providing homeowners with powerful options for managing indoor moisture across a variety of living spaces,” said Divya Darshini Piskala, product manager at Bosch Home Comfort. “The Dry Series helps homeowners protect their homes from excess moisture, improve indoor air quality, and maintain consistent comfort.”

The Bosch Dry Series includes two models designed to address moisture-management needs across a range of room sizes and living spaces:

  • Dry 2000: Removes up to 22 pints of moisture per day and covers spaces up to 1,500 square feet, including bedrooms, apartments, basements and other smaller living spaces. It features an intuitive, one-touch control panel, an extra-large 1.5-gallon water tank with a built-in viewing window and a continuous drainage option for hands-free convenience.
  • Dry 4000: Removes up to 35 pints of moisture per day and covers spaces up to 3,000 square feet for larger residential areas and multi-room environments.  It includes a 1.5-gallon windowed tank, integrated mobility casters and a continuous drain hose option.

Equipped with smart control interfaces, the units provide effortless tracking and precise adjustments through three operation modes:

  • Auto Mode: Monitors and adjusts fan speeds based on ambient conditions, defaulting to a 55% humidity target (adjustable from 40% to 70%). Once reached, the unit enters an energy-saving state, visually indicated by a slow “breathing rhythm” pulse on the top LED light ring.
  • Night Mode: Indicated by a “crescent moon” symbol, this ultra-quiet mode drops the fan to its slowest speed and shuts off all display lights and the light ring for an undisturbed sleeping environment.
  • Turbo Mode: Indicated by a “rev [EH1] gauge” symbol, this mode bypasses humidity targets to run the fan at maximum speed and dehumidify heavily saturated spaces as quickly as possible while displaying real-time moisture levels.
