HVAC Specialist – State Hospital South

Come join the HVAC team at State Hospital South! We have an exciting opportunity for a HVAC Specialist in Blackfoot.. This position will perform journey-level installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems; perform related work. The schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with holidays off and on-call every 8-9 weeks.

In addition, SHS will provide paid time off to receive the 608 certification training. We will pay for the 2-day class (approximately $2,300), hotel and travel expenses.

Lead Installer

We are looking for a lead HVAC installer with at least 2 years of experience. You will work hands on with your team while installing a wide range of HVAC equipment. It is the lead installer’s job to ensure the installation is done properly, safely, and to the highest standards while providing excellent customer service.

Plans Examiner B or C (Commercial)

The City of Austin DSD is seeking to fill a Mechanical Plans Examiner position at either the B or C level. This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing construction plans and processing permit applications related to commercial and multi-family development. This includes the review of construction plans to determine compliance with the mechanical code and other relevant codes adopted by the City of Austin.

This position is also expected to review and comment on proposed rule adoptions or code amendments, review and assess for compliance single trade permit requests, assist with developing procedures to administer codes/ordinances and assist internal employees and the public with the integration of regulations, processes and procedures. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are needed for this position to successfully perform daily interactions with the public, construction professionals, stakeholders, and internal employees.

Technical Service Representative

The Technical Support Representative provides technical problem resolution to customers by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Solutions include, but are not limited to, product set-up and education, repair, and warranty issues. Support will be provided by clearly communicating technical solutions in a user-friendly, professional manner. Technical Support Representative conducts product repair (automotive, HVAC except recovery and vacuum pumps) approximately 50% of work time.

HVAC Technician

Seattle City Light is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. This position will perform journey-level mechanical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment (HVAC-R) and related City Light building systems. The HVAC Technicians are stationed in Seattle; however, it requires travel to a variety of City Light facilities, including those located in remote locations. Typical travel stays in these remote locations are 2 weeks in length. Work requires exposure to excessive noise, working at extreme heights and in hazardous and confined areas and requires taking safety precautions around equipment.
