The schedule will be Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm with holidays off and on-call every 8-9 weeks.

In addition, SHS will provide paid time off to receive the 608 certification training. We will pay for the 2-day class (approximately $2,300), hotel and travel expenses.

This position is responsible for reviewing and analyzing construction plans and processing permit applications related to commercial and multi-family development. This includes the review of construction plans to determine compliance with the mechanical code and other relevant codes adopted by the City of Austin.

This position is also expected to review and comment on proposed rule adoptions or code amendments, review and assess for compliance single trade permit requests, assist with developing procedures to administer codes/ordinances and assist internal employees and the public with the integration of regulations, processes and procedures. The Technical Support Representative provides technical problem resolution to customers by performing a question diagnosis while guiding users through step-by-step solutions. Seattle City Light is looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join the team. This position will perform journey-level mechanical work in the installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment (HVAC-R) and related City Light building systems. The HVAC Technicians are stationed in Seattle; however, it requires travel to a variety of City Light facilities, including those located in remote locations. Typical travel stays in these remote locations are 2 weeks in length.
