Pamlico Air, a manufacturer of high-quality air filters, air filtration products and equipment founded 2019, has opened a manufacturing plant in Lake Wales, FL. Pamlico Air’s leadership team of Founder and CEO Travis Stephenson, President Charlie Kwiatkowski, COO of the High Purity Division Shawn Windley and Director of Sales, Melissa Davidson have over a century of industry-related experience between them.

The Lake Wales facility, the second to open, joins plants in Wilson, N.C. and Wichita Falls, TX as part of the strategic manufacturing expansion in the country. The team is led by Operations Manager Donna Osteen and Manager of Human Resources Melissa Muñoz.

Donna has been in the air filtration industry for more than 17 years and has experience in various operations and management roles. She has been a key component of the start up of our Florida facility and operations. She is responsible for manufacturing and production processes, shipping and logistics and all other daily operations.

Donna’s management style embraces Pamlico Air’s family-oriented approach with the employees at the plant. She sees each employee as more than a team member and feels responsible for their success on the job and as a person. The Lake Wales community has been very appreciative that they were chosen as a site for the facility, according to Donna.

Melissa’s 15 years of experience in Human Resources is evidenced in how she interviews and hires for all staff positions and works very closely with Donna managing the employees. She recognizes the uniqueness of each individual and instills a culture of showing respect for one another, uniting everyone as a team. “It has been gratifying seeing the positive impact we’ve had on the community and how our employees are aware of the significance of their contributions,” Melissa stated. “We stayed open during the pandemic with employees working shortened schedules to minimize the financial impact on their families. They realize that the company genuinely cares about them and they take pride in their work. No matter how far or near the filters they make go, our employees know they are important to the people purchasing them. I am looking forward to being a part of this amazing company for many years to come.”
