On Saturday, October 6th Thomas Supply held their 40th Anniversary Party and 4th Annual Fishing Rodeo at Hebert’s Marina in Big Lake, Louisiana. The weekend kicked off on Friday night at the Thomas Camp with Captain’s Night; hosting everyone staying in Big Lake for the weekend. Chef KD was in charge of the food and rocked the night, starting with charbroiled oysters, the main course of alligator sauce piquante, and finishing the night with his famous flaming bananas foster.

Saturday kicked off bright and early with over 25 boats setting out to become the 2018 Bill Thomas Most Outstanding Angler. To celebrate their 40th year of business, the Thomas’ selected one of their first and most loyal ICP dealers, as well as a long-time family friend, Dwayne Roussell, to be the 2018 official weigh master. The fishing category results were extremely close with Darlene Natali sweeping the Most Outstanding Angler and the Most Outstanding Female Angler awards. Darlene is the wife of Terry Natali who is part of the third generation of General Refrigeration.

After the fishing was ended, the party was kicked off with entertainment from the Cajun Soul French band. In addition, Chef KD fried catfish for the 200 friends and family of Thomas Supply. Following the awards presentation, the Rosedown Rocker band capped of the weekend with three great hours of Rock N Roll music.

Bobby Thomas explained “We had the fishing rodeo to celebrate another great year of business in south Louisiana and east Texas. This year marks our 40th anniversary and we wanted to celebrate with friends and family of Thomas Supply. We would like to thank all of our customers, friends, and family who participated in the weekend and who have supported us throughout the year. We are also thankful for our sales reps and vendor partners who helped make the weekend a success.”
