Titus Launches FL-10 LED Architectural Linear Diffuser System with Integrated LED Lighting
The FlowBarTM system maximizes HVAC performance while maintaining aesthetic options for designers when paired with the Minus lighting module from Apure® Architectural Lighting
PLANO, TEXAS – March 11, 2024 – Titus, a world leader in air distribution, has launched the FL-10 LED architectural linear diffuser system, which fully integrates the Titus FlowBarTM architectural linear diffuser with the Apure® MINUS 2 lighting module. The FL-10 LED FlowBar system maximizes air diffuser performance while giving architects and designers greater aesthetic freedom than conventional air supply diffusers. Integrating HVAC and lighting can also reduce costs and installation time.
“At Titus, we know the comfort a space provides depends on the form and function of both airflow and lighting technologies,” said Mark Costello, product manager, Titus. “Our engineering team designed the FlowBar architectural linear diffuser system with a balance of elegance and performance that supports and integrates with cutting-edge Apure Minus lighting modules. Using this innovative FlowBar with integrated LED lighting, architects and designers can upgrade existing or outfit new buildings – such as air terminals, offices and universities – to create optimal, stylish spaces that look as good as they feel.”
With a low-profile, one-inch slot width, the aluminum FlowBar system features a frameless border for a clean look. It has integral pattern controllers on standard 24-inch centers, which allow the airstream to be directed left and right for horizontal and vertical airflow. The FlowBar system is available in 6-, 8-, 10- and 12-foot segments, along with HighThrow and JetThrow versions. Mitered corners and angle cut ends are also available.
Founded in 2013, Apure® Architectural Lighting identifies and develops innovative, state-of-the-art lighting solutions without compromising aesthetics. With internationally-renowned designers like Studio F.A. Porsche and a team of engineers in Germany, the company designs products with a clear purpose to address specific issues. The multi-award-winning Minus series, known for its first-of-its-kind design and hardware, enables LED downlights to require less than an inch of recess depth, thereby significantly minimizing fixture space in ceilings.
