The meetings began with equipment showcases and open discussions between York® representatives and the guests. The stars of the shows were the new Affinity™ Series YZT 19 SEER high-efficiency, two-stage communicating heat pumps, rounding out the heat pump platform and joining the family of York® residential systems which are designed, engineered and assembled in the United States. The two-stage compressor design adjusts capacity to provide improved temperature and humidity control to meet comfort needs and the systems can be controlled with conventional thermostats or the wi-fi enabled Hx3™ touch-screen communicating thermostat. The QuietDrive™ Sound Reduction system includes a swept-wing fan, composite base pan and sound containment cloak to reduce sound levels to no more than a typical kitchen dishwasher.

Summaries of the Liberties™, Liberties Plus™ and Certified Comfort Expert™ York® Dealer Success programs made up the balance of the business meetings. 2019 ushers in an expansion of the programs, making them more attractive than ever. They are more lucrative as rebates and rewards have increased and there are more partnership programs for marketing.

Awards were presented to York® 2018 Top Sales and Diamond Club dealers and York® Factory Direct Regional Manager Bobby Pickney concluded the meetings, thanking the dealers for attending and stating, “We look forward to making 2019 an exceptional year for York in Florida!”

The dealers and guests then attended the evening’s sporting event at their venues.
South Florida dealers watched the Florida Panthers hockey team beat the Boston Bruins 5 – 0 as Roberto Luongo, their 39-year-old goalie, made 32 saves in his first game back after missing 5 games with a lower-body injury.

In Orlando, the dealers attended a basketball game between the Orlando Magic and the Indiana Pacers which the Pacers won, 112 – 90, their 8th straight win against Orlando.
