Goodman Distribution recently named Joe Lilly South Florida Area Sales Manager. Joe’s responsibilities include managing Territory Sales Managers, overseeing regional and local sales managers and their staffs, preparing and approving budgets and participation in the acquisition of “key accounts.” The South Florida Area encompasses the southern half of Florida, from Bradenton to Ft Pierce and down, including the Caribbean.

A Florida native, Joe brings a wealth of experience on both the contracting and distribution sides of the industry to his new position. He started in HVACR as a technician for a mechanical company in Tampa, FL in 1993. After twelve years he moved to the wholesale sector, joining a major manufacturer/distributor in Tampa as a territory sales manager for five years. Joe returned to contracting for a few years before accepting a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) position with Goodman in 2013. He transitioned to Daikin TSM when Daikin Unitary Products was launched. After two years he was promoted to Divisional Ductless/VRV Manager covering five states, which he vacated to accept the South Florida Area Sales Manager position.
