Nidec Showcases Integrated HVACR Technologies at Chillventa 2026

September 09, 2026

Nidec will showcase its comprehensive HVACR offering at Chillventa 2026, the world’s leading exhibition for refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and heat pump technology, taking place in Nuremberg, Germany, from 13-15 October 2026. Exhibiting together on a shared stand, Nidec Drives and Embraco will demonstrate how their combined technologies help original equipment manufacturers, contractors and system designers create more efficient, reliable and sustainable cooling and heating systems. Showcasing variable speed drives and motors, the portfolio addresses a wide range of HVACR applications, helping customers reduce energy consumption, lower operating costs and improve overall system performance.

The exhibition brings together manufacturers, engineers, contractors, consultants and industry experts from across the globe to explore the latest innovations shaping the future of cooling, heating and refrigeration technologies. At Chillventa 2026, Nidec will demonstrate how its technologies enable higher efficiency, improved reliability and greater sustainability across commercial buildings, industrial facilities, refrigeration systems, heat pumps and critical cooling applications.

“Chillventa is an important opportunity to engage with customers and partners from across the industry. By bringing together expertise from across Nidec, we’re able to support the HVACR market with a broad portfolio of technologies and the engineering knowledge needed to solve increasingly complex challenges,” said Scott Durfee, Director for HVAC and Pump, Nidec Drives.

Nidec Drives works closely with HVACR manufacturers, system integrators and contractors to develop smarter, more adaptable cooling and heating systems. Backed by a global network of engineering expertise, the company offers a flexible portfolio of variable speed drives and power conversion technologies that can be tailored to specific application requirements. Combined with application knowledge and technical support throughout the project lifecycle, Nidec Drives helps customers simplify system integration, respond to evolving regulatory demands and bring innovative HVACR solutions to market more quickly.

“As HVACR systems become more efficient and connected, drive technology has an increasingly important role to play,” said Joseph Morris, Product Manager, Nidec Drives. “Our solutions help customers maximise energy efficiency, improve reliability and optimise the performance of critical applications, from data centres and commercial buildings to refrigeration and heat pump systems.”

The shared presence at Chillventa reflects Nidec’s continued investment in the HVACR sector and demonstrates the collective expertise of its businesses worldwide. By combining complementary technologies spanning drives, motors, compressors and system-level solutions, Nidec is helping customers improve efficiency, enhance sustainability and prepare for the future demands of cooling, heating and refrigeration applications.
