Replace major portions of various cooling units such as compressors, condensers, expansion valves, float and service valves, thermostats, coils, and drive assemblies.

Essential Job Function

1. Greet customers in a professional and helpful manner.

3. Handle customer warranty claims and credit returns in a timely fashion by completing all appropriate documentation, receiving product items back prior to processing of any claims or credits in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOP’s).
4. Enter sales orders into Sales Order Entry System and process credit card payments or receive cash payments all in accordance with cash handling policy and SOP’s.
5. Answer incoming customer telephone calls and provide all aspects of customer service by; providing quotes

Carry out all repair and maintenance work to Airedale and other manufacturers’ refrigeration and air conditioning equipment to a high standard of accuracy
Project Work – from time to time the role will require the on site assembly of units delivered in a modular formats. This will require mechanical, electrical and refrigeration knowledge.
Work and liaise closely with customers
Submit paperwork in a prompt and efficient manner
Report day to day activity to the Service Team Leader to ensure availability and productivity
Liaison with other Service Support Engineers to ensure works are completed on time.
Submit site reports within prescribed timeframe
Submit expenses paperwork and timesheets within prescribed timeframe
Act in a professional manner towards customers to promote company image at all times.
Follow health and safety policies and procedures at Airedale and at customer sites
Maintain an excellent attendance record
Able to work outside of normal office hours on a regular basis
