The Wrench Group, a Leading Provider of Home Services, Acquires Florida Cool Inc.
The Wrench Group (“Wrench”), a national leader in home repair and maintenance services specializing in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, water and electrical services, announced in March the acquisition of Florida Cool, Inc. (“Florida Cool”), located in Naples, Florida, expanding its footprint in the southwest Florida market.
Florida Cool has been locally owned and operated by Tom Caprio since 1992 and prides itself on its skilled technicians dedicated to providing superior service to its customers. “The southwest Florida market is experiencing significant growth and the acquisition of Florida Cool strengthens and accelerates our growth,” said Ken Haines, CEO, The Wrench Group.

Florida Cool will be combining its operations with CoolToday, headquartered in Sarasota, Fla. CoolToday, serving Sarasota and the surrounding areas since 1963, was acquired by The Wrench Group in April 2019, and has quickly expanded its service offerings to the Tampa and St. Pete area. “Through our combined leadership and operational success, Tom and I are excited about delivering the highest level of quality and service to customers,” said Jaime DiDomenico, CoolToday President. DiDomenico and Caprio will be working together to combine brand names in the coming months. Caprio will continue to manage the Naples operation as market President.
