2019 Teachers N Trainers Contest Winner

The folks at Macdonald-Miller in Kent, WA have something to cheer about this week, as one of their own, Seth LaRiviere, took home the gold in the fourth annual Teachers and Trainers (TnT) Instructors competition. This competition was part of HVAC Excellence’s 13th annual National HVACR Educators and Trainers Conference, which was held March 3-5, 2019 at the South Point Hotel in Las Vegas Nevada. Seth LaRiviere is no stranger to the TnT competition, as he took second place in the 2018 event.Dozens of instructors participated in this year’s competition, with twenty participants moving on to the hands-on portion of the event, all of whom walked away with valuable prizes. Those who rounded out the top 20 are, in alphabetical order, Matthew Beck (Salt Spring Island, BC), Travis Criner (Charleston, WV), Benjamin Ficklin (Houston, TX), Barkley Gause (Washington, UT), Earl Guillory (Kansas City, KS), Wayne Hardin (Smithfield, NC), Charles Hoard (Georgetown, DE), Jason Hoard, (Middleton, DE), Danny Hogue (Wayne, OK), Paul Hume (Peoria, IL), Anthony Jordan (Milton, WI), Brian Martingale (Ann Arbor, MI), James Neal (Spokane, WA), Jeff Polk (Albuquerque, NM), Kevin Putman (Las Vegas, NV), Richard Ruscigno (Union, NJ), Chris Sterrett (Pittsburgh, KS), Jake Timmerman (Mosinee, WI), and Dylan Wadzinski (Conway, SC).

- Sixth Place: Anthony Jordan, Blackhawk Technical College, Milton, WI
A special thanks goes out to those organizations that chose to participate by hosting events at their conference booths.
