The Power Behind Innovation: Ziehl-Abegg Celebrates the Skilled Hands and Hearts of Its North American Team

January 22, 2026

When you step inside Ziehl-Abegg’s new North American headquarters, the sound you hear isn’t just machinery, it’s the rhythm of craftsmanship, teamwork, and pride. Every product that leaves the Winston-Salem facility carries the mark of the people who build it, each one a reflection of skill and dedication.

For Assembly Technician Hsu Jordan, that rhythm is about movement and growth. “I like rotating around positions so that we don’t just stay in the same spot,” Jordan said. “It keeps me balanced and motivated, especially when I have co-workers and leaders who understand me.”

Teamwork is a recurring theme on the floor. Luizi Taw, also an Assembly Technician, finds meaning in shared effort. “I enjoy teamwork and giving suggestions,” Taw explained. “I’m proud to run and fix machines. Hitting quality targets keeps me going.”

Amy Roy, EC Rotor Press Operator, brings both skill and heart to her work. “I like being challenged by quotas and learning every position on the team,” she said. “My dad told me, no matter what I do, take pride in it — and that’s what I do every day.”

That same sense of purpose motivates Sorya Homrani, who sees her role as part of a bigger picture. “Every day offers a chance to face new challenges and develop my skills,” she shared. “I love my work and give everything I can to it even more.”

For Jennifer Amsler, adaptability has been her path to success. “I’m proud of my ability to move between departments and continue my career growth,” Amsler said. “My children motivate me to do my best every day.”

Some employees have turned challenges into leadership. Osmara Zmbrawo, an Assembly Technician, shared, “I’ve learned English and become a leader. Every day I learn from what I do.”

And Mercedes Montilla, EC Stator Technician, credits her environment for her success. “I love everything about my work,” she said. “I’m proud to help where I’m needed and improve production. My leader makes every day pleasant and productive.”

Each of these voices tells a story of pride, persistence, and teamwork, the same qualities that define Ziehl-Abegg’s global reputation for excellence.

“Our employees are the heart of Ziehl-Abegg,” said Jimmy Mitchell, Managing Director. “Their craftsmanship, pride, and teamwork are what make our products exceptional and our company culture extraordinary. They’re the reason Ziehl-Abegg continues to grow and lead in North America.”

At Ziehl-Abegg, innovation isn’t just engineered, it’s lived every day by the people who build, learn, and lead together. Their skill and spirit are what make the company truly move.
