The Winsupply Family of Companies has welcomed a new Local Company with the opening of Tulsa Winlectric.

Tulsa Winlectric opened its doors on June 19, 2026, at 10702 E. 11th St. and features a 20,000-square-foot facility.

Led by President/Owner Jacob Wares, the Tulsa Winlectric team—Campbell Yeager, Brandon Mercer, Colton Collier, Landon Bart, Zevveyln Balalong, Jordan Hemphill, and Mike Lindwall—serves the electrical needs of the city and its surrounding region.

Wares’ path to being a President began with a lifelong passion for entrepreneurship. In middle school, the Oklahoma native would paint bicycles and sell baked goods to generate profit. This eventually turned into buying larger items, such as boats, trailers, and four wheelers, to flip for cash.

“I have always had a knack for buying and reselling,” Wares said. “I knew from a young age I wanted to serve people.”

After spending years as an electrical contractor, Wares felt he had hit the ceiling in his career. He heard about Winsupply’s business model, which enables those with entrepreneurial spirit to risk their money to own their own wholesaling company, pursue the American Dream, and have unlimited earning potential.

“The Spirit of Opportunity at Winsupply has allowed me to help people and do what I love every day,” Wares said.

In 2024, Wares joined Tulsa Winnelson, under President Chuck Johnson, and went through a President’s Scholarship training program to prepare to become a Local Company President and run his own business.

Area Leader Roger Lewis said as soon as he met Wares he knew he had the grit and unique perspective to be a successful Local Company President.

“He is one of us; I knew Jake had a strong work ethic and would be successful,” Lewis said.

In the Tulsa area, Tulsa Winlectric is joined by Tulsa Winwater, Tulsa Winair, and Tulsa Winnelson. Together, these four companies strengthen the local market by serving the region’s comprehensive wholesaling needs.

“My goal has always been to see Winsupply Local Companies serving multiple industries in major markets,” Lewis said. “With the existing Tulsa Winnelson, contractors are already familiar with Winsupply and having a Local Company with a strong market presence helps.”

Tulsa Winlectric is planning a grand opening event this fall.
