Acquisition brings together two longstanding, family-owned distributors and expands Robert Madden Industries’ service footprint into Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia while building on Shore Distributors’ 80-year legacy across the Delmarva Peninsula

Robert Madden Industries, a family-owned HVAC distributor, today announced the acquisition of Shore Distributors, Inc., a family-owned HVAC and plumbing distributor serving the Delmarva Peninsula.

Founded in Salisbury, Maryland in 1946, Shore Distributors has built a longstanding reputation for dependable service, knowledgeable support, and strong relationships with contractors, employees, vendors, and the communities it serves. The company operates 11 locations throughout Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia and provides a broad selection of residential and commercial HVAC and plumbing equipment, parts, and supplies, including Bryant and Carrier heating and cooling products.

The acquisition represents a significant geographic expansion for Robert Madden Industries and brings together two companies with extensive experience representing Bryant and Carrier products. The combination strengthens Robert Madden Industries’ ability to serve HVAC and plumbing contractors through an expanded distribution network, increased inventory resources, technical expertise, training opportunities, and contractor-focused programs.
