David Harmer has joined Johnstone Supply’s Rochester location. In his new position, Harmer will serve Johnstone customers as a member of the warehouse team and as a counter sales representative.

Harmer sold the business he co-owned for 24 years to his partner and retired two years ago. He quickly tired of retirement and returned to work at Johnstone. The Penfield resident is a graduate of LeMoyne College in Syracuse, where he earned a bachelors degree in Business Administration degree. He and his wife, Margaret, have three grown children.

Johnstone Supply, a nationwide, member-owned buying cooperative for HVACR equipment and supplies, distributes to HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) contractors and to facilities maintenance staffs. Each member store is independently owned and operated. Ken Livingston owns the stores at 95 Halstead Street in Rochester and 835 Canal Street in Syracuse.
