Tommy Flick, President of Flick Distributing announced that Flick Distributing completed its 2018 Thanksgiving Food Drive and that it was a huge success.

Mr. Flick stated, “We at Flick Distributing Company would like to express our thanks to all of those customers, vendors and associates who generously donated to our 2018 Thanksgiving Food Drive. The amount of food collected at our stores was amazing. Altogether, through “drop off”, and cash donations, almost 2,000 cans and boxes were donated to the pre-selected charities. Our Gretna location won our competition, by collecting cash donations in excess of $500 by themselves.”

The 2018 charity food donations were given to St Rita Food Pantry (Harahan store) and St Christopher Outreach (Gretna store).

George Fenasci, the winning Gretna store manager shared “It makes you feel good to help people, especially during the holidays. It is so rewarding to watch some of our more frugal customers loosen up and be incredibly generous for the food drive. It’s such a wonderful feeling.”
