By Walter Arnett
By now, most of you readers of the HVAC Insider, Keystone Garden Edition, have heard the sad news that we lost our longtime friend, Arthur Penchansky the morning of Tuesday, January 22. He was in the hospital battling pneumonia again, when complications won his fight for life. At this time, the plans have not been settled for the burial services, other than he will be laid to rest in Macon, Georgia at the Riverside Cemetery next to his dearly loved wife, Marian.
I met Arthur over 30 years ago when he first started dating my cousin, Marian, in Atlanta, and somehow we became instant friends. When he asked her to marry him, she came to me to ask for my blessing. Of course, my answer was an instant positive one for a joint partnership that never went sour. They both have been rejoined now, to continue on with happiness.
The HVAC Insider Newspapers will continue to be your source for the product, people, and industry information that directly effects you HVAC/R related readers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. We thank all of you for the friendship and ongoing support that you always showed Arthur, and ask you to please continue with that dedication for the future.
I thank you all for the opportunity of addressing you in this column this month, even if it is because of a sad situation. Maybe, you will hear from me again in the future.
