Summit Refrigerants, a leading refrigerant reclaimer, supplier and service provider, announced today the forming of a collaboration with GRIT (Gases Research Innovation & Technology), SLU, based in Barcelona, Spain. GRIT brings proven technology to Summit, allowing Summit to expand its offering of quality products and services.
GRIT is a recognized leader in the European refrigerant market. Dedicated to research and development, as its name suggests, GRIT will bring proven technology to Summit and the US market.

The developing federal and state regulations in the US regarding refrigerants will increase the demand for the services Summit provides. These regulations also require significant investments in new equipment and enhanced HSE protocols. To service the next generation of refrigerants, additions to Summit’s facilities in Houston will begin immediately.
