For more than 40 years, One Hour has maintained a reputation in Hampton Roads for professional service as well as providing comfortable environments for team members and the community.

“This year’s recipients epitomize the skills and attitude celebrated through this award,” said PHCC President Ken Nielsen. “The father and son duo of Todd and Ryan Kletz, from Classic Air’s One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning, represent a long history of delivering professional, on-time service, 24 hours a day to customers in the Coastal Virginia region.”

Focused on excellent customer service, One Hour constantly innovates new ways to improve customer satisfaction. The company recently began stocking all of its service vans with materials from R.E. Michel to eliminate the need for workers to leave the customer’s home to finish repairs. One Hour stays ahead of the technology curve, offering a live chat function on their website to improve communication with customers. By emphasizing the customer, the organization has built strong long-lasting relationships with the community.

In addition to being dedicated to customers, One Hour is also committed to its employees and the HVAC industry. The company provides training opportunities to help employees grow their careers, and have implemented shift work to reduce employee burnout and increase work/life balance.

On top of running an excellent HVAC business, Todd and Ryan are also passionate about serving their communities. In 2012, Todd created One Hour Cares, a philanthropic initiative that has donated over $100,000 to local organizations in Hampton Roads.

As the PHCC of Virginia nomination form states, “Todd and Ryan go above and beyond when it comes to managing the One Hour team. With an open door policy, they are able to communicate freely with everyone and make decisions based on employee feedback. The company is able to be innovative because it is flexible when it comes to techniques and procedures rather than being locked into outdated management policies.”
