CAAG Vice President Matthew Holtkamp (Holtkamp Heating & Air Conditioning, Suwanee, Ga.) met with Georgia Secretary of State (SOS), Brad Raffensperger recently at his Rotary Club luncheon. Matthew said they had a good conversation and thought the new Secretary of State would work with CAAG to strengthen the enforcement of the licensing law.

All the licensing boards are under the SOS’s jurisdiction. The SOS commented that he was opposed to licensing unless it dealt with the “safety and health” of Georgia citizens. Mr. Holtkamp agreed and assured him that HVAC systems certainly affect the safety and health of our customers! CAAG is looking forward to working with Sec. Raffensperger.
