NADCA Announces 2020 Executive Committee of Its Board of Directors

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA), also known as the HVAC Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Association, inducted its 2020 Executive Committee during the 31st Annual Meeting and Exposition at Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, California March 9-11, 2020.

The 2020 Executive Committee officers include Mark Zarzeczny, President and Chairman of the Board; April Yungen, 1st Vice President; Richard Lantz, 2nd Vice President; Jim Castellano, Treasurer; and Mike Dexter, Secretary.

Mark Zarzeczny

Newly elected President, Mark Zarzeczny, ASCS, CVI, is the owner of Advanced Clean Air Specialists, LLC in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He has served on the NADCA Board of Directors since 2014, and is the past Chairman of the Annual Meeting Committee and the Industry & Public Relations Committee. He leads the charge of the Anti-Fraud Task Force, and also is a member of the CVI Marketing Task Force and Membership Committee.

April Yungen

1st Vice President, April Yungen, ASCS, CVI, founded Air Management Industries in 1997. The company provides commercial air duct cleaning services throughout Southern California, and added air balancing to its list of services in 2000. Yungen serves as Chair of NADCA’s Certification Committee, Chair of the Standards Committee, CVI Marketing Task Force Committee, Regional Coordinators Committee, and is past chair of the Membership Committee. She is also a member of the of Anti-Fraud Task Force and Editorial Committee. She has served on the Board of Directors since 2015.

Richard Lantz
Richard Lantz

2nd Vice President, Richard Lantz, ASCS, CVI, is General Manager/Partner of Virginia Air Duct Cleaners, Inc. in Chesapeake, Virginia. He is a NADCA certified Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) and Certified Ventilation Inspector (CVI) with more than 21 years of experience in indoor air quality, HVAC IAQ inspections, and air duct cleaning. He has served on the NADCA Board of Directors since 2012. He is the Chairman of the Leadership Development Committee, the Strategic Planning Committee, and the Editorial Committee. Lantz is also a member of the Fall Technical Conference, CVI Marketing Task Force, and Regional Coordinator Committees.

Jim Castellano
Jim Castellano

Treasurer, Jim Castellano, ASCS, CVI, is the president and owner of Better Air Quality in Middle Island, New York, and has more than 20 years of experience in air conveyance sales and marketing. He currently serves as chair of NADCA’s Membership Committee and co-chair of the Certification Committee. He also is active with the Fall Technical Conference Committee and the Industry & Public Relations Committee. Castellano holds certifications in water damage restoration and fire damage restoration.

Mike Dexter

Secretary, Mike Dexter, ASCS, CVI, has been a NADCA member since 1991 and is President of Air Quality Control Environmental in Coral Springs, Florida. He is the chair of NADCA’s Fall Technical Committee and Education Committee, and also is involved in the Energy Savings Task Force and NADCA White Paper sub-committee.

“These newly elected officers bring a wealth of insight and deep industry expertise to our organization, and will be fantastic additions to our Executive Committee,” said Jodi Araujo, CEM, NADCA’s Chief Executive Officer. “As leaders, mentors, and advocates of NADCA’s mission, they are dedicated to the association and our members, and are fully committed to helping NADCA advance the industry through education, certification, and the promotion of the highest quality service and ethical standards.

Zarzeczny, Yungen, Lantz, Castellano, and Dexter officially took office on the Executive Committee of at NADCA’s 31st Annual Meeting and Exposition at Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, California March 9-11, 2020.
