ACCA Announces Hire of Sales Specialist
The Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) announces Tom Murphy as ACCA’s new sales specialist.
As ACCA’s sales specialist, Murphy is responsible for the development of new business relationships. Murphy rejoins ACCA after serving as ACCA’s director of sales from 2011-2018. Having had a long and successful career in marketing and sales, Murphy has expertise in the areas of advertising, sponsorships, and event sales. In his previous role with ACCA, Murphy spent much of his time prospecting, cold calling, and emailing to solidify relationships. Murphy plans to use his previous expertise and established connections within the ACCA vendor community to hit the ground running in this new position.
In addition to his responsibilities highlighted above, Murphy will also oversee the generation of new business revenue with local, regional, and national companies through the integrated packaging of ACCA assets in the ACCA Now Magazine, awards, sponsorships, and events. He will also be responsible for the overall management of several partnerships, including the development of new revenue opportunities, creating value-added opportunities, and mutually beneficial activation programs.
