Trane® by Trane Technologies, a global climate innovator, celebrated the grand opening of its new sales and  distribution office in Fort Smith, Arkansas on May 14. 

Located at 3501 Old Greenwood Road, the new office will serve as a local hub for HVAC equipment, service,  turnkey, and control sales, further strengthening Trane’s ability to support customers and partners in Fort Smith  and the surrounding region. 

The facility is expected to support up to 10 employees and will play an important role in delivering HVAC  products, services and solutions across the market. 

The office also builds on Trane’s longstanding presence in Fort Smith, where one of the company’s Commercial  HVAC manufacturing facilities has operated for more than 30 years. The Fort Smith manufacturing site employs  approximately 200 people and produces custom air handler units. 

Last year, the Fort Smith manufacturing facility announced plans to expand operations to support the  production of thermal management solutions.
