The ICM Controls IC517 is an economical dual voltage single phase surge protector that protects against lightning power surges and voltage surges from air conditioners, generators and motors.

Designed to protect equipment by dissipating momentary voltage spikes and transient power surges, the UL-listed Type 2 device features easy installation, low cost combined with high performance, ruggedness and reliability and a NEMA Type 3R enclosure. The ICM517 is backed by a Limited Lifetime Protection Warranty.

The ICM517 provides surge protection for refrigeration systems, motors, air conditioners, appliances and electronics. Suitable for use on a circuit capable of delivering not more than 10,000 rms symmetrical amps, 240 volts max, when protected by a circuit breaker rated 20-60 amps maximum and 120 volts minimum.
