Seifert Systems, Inc. introduces the SoliTherm^® Protec Series of enclosure air conditioners specifically designed for operating in extreme environments where corrosives like salt water, wastewater, chlorinated water,  petrochemicals or corrosive chemicals are present.

Features for Protec air conditioners include AISI 316 (V4A) stainless steel housing, anti-rust coatings on the condenser, exposure protected controller and ambient side tubing, enhanced chemical and salt spray resistance, an integrated heater for reducing humidity in the enclosure.

SoliTherm^® Protec Series is UL listed for types 3R and 4X / IP 56 and includes integrated condensate evaporation package for no-drip operation. A programmable digital controller that is viewed and operated from inside the enclosure and a weight-bearing metal flange support for easier mounting are among the key features.

Cooling capacities are from 2,050 to 21,170 BTU/hr and operating temperature range is -40°F to 140°F. Temperature controller is adjustable from 68°F to 122°F and has settable high temperature alarms.

Applications include enclosure cooling in marine environments, water/wastewater treatment plants, chemical and petrochemical plants.

SoliTherm Protec models provide flexibility for users to choose the size and cooling capacity that fits their application from 15 x 9.85 x 9.85 inches, up to 47.7 x 17.9 x 15.4 inches. These air conditioners come with a two-year standard warranty.
