Area contractors recently traveled to South Carolina with Air Purchases for another successful Allied Air Enterprises™ “Red Carpet Tour.” Hosted by Allied District Sales Manager Mark Richards, the event marked the third time in the last year that New England contractors have taken part in a tour of Allied Air’s factory in Orangeburg, SC and its testing labs and corporate offices in Columbia.

“We were thrilled to have another full house for this tour,” said Air Purchases Vice President Jim Travers. “As a Lennox International Company™, Allied Air has a long legacy in the HVAC industry that dates back to 1928. These tours give contractors the chance to see the impact of that legacy first-hand and to witness the quality that goes into the production of every Allied Air product, including the Armstrong Air®, Ducane™, and Allied Commercial™ lines we carry.”

In addition to the factory tour, contractors met with experts on Allied Air’s marketing, product and technical services, and research and development teams. They also took part in an intensive product teardown session.

“What I like most about these tours is that they give contractors added confidence when offering Allied Air products to their customers,” said Air Purchases Territory Manager Pete Mikolajczuk. “They see the production quality and the pride the production team takes in their work. They feel the enthusiasm and commitment of the members of the Allied corporate team. And they have a chance to get to know the Air Purchases team ‘off the grid,’ to ask honest questions and get honest answers. It’s a win-win all around.”
