Systemair, a leading global supplier of high-quality ventilation, heating, and cooling products and systems, is pleased to announce the election of Bertrand Poirier, P. Eng., Head of Regulatory and Technical Affairs for Systemair North America, as Chair of the Board for the Home Ventilating Institute (HVI). Selected by the HVI General Membership, Poirier will serve a two-year term.
Poirier has been an active member of HVI for more than 15 years, including service on several committees and approximately five years on the board of directors. As Chair, Poirier will preside over board and membership meetings, ensure that board resolutions are implemented, and act as a counselor to the CEO on administrative and strategic matters. He will also help guide the organization’s strategic direction, support the advancement of HVI’s certification programs, foster collaboration across manufacturers and technical experts, and continue to champion indoor air quality and energy efficiency across the industry.
