The Unified Group is proud to name the VHV Company of Winooski, Vermont the 2025 Member of the Year and recipient of the Making the Difference Award. This annual honor is presented to a Group member company that consistently demonstrates outstanding leadership, fosters meaningful collaboration, willingly supports fellow members and delivers exceptional service to the entire Unified Group.

 VHV Company was founded in a garage in 1949 to offer custom heating and ventilation systems to greater Vermont. The company expanded in size and offerings over the decades, becoming the premier mechanical contractor in the region but has kept the small business mindset. The Unified Group’s core values, “Passion for Success,” “Cultivating Growth” and “Dedicated to Sharing” are all clearly reflected in the way VHV Company operates and how it engages within the Group.

Representatives of the VHV Company — 27 in total — attended every Unified Group meeting in 2025. The company has been a member since 2012 and has put the ideas shared at Unified Group meetings into practice, ensuring continued growth and success. They make the effort to visit fellow members, and VHV President Tom Dacres regularly attends Unified Group meetings to support and invest in his team.
