2nd Annual HVACR Training Symposium Held in Clermont, FL
The 2nd Annual HVACR Training Symposium was held March 11 through 13, 2021 at the Kalos Services headquarters in Clermont, FL. Organized by Bryan Orr, Vice-President of Service and co-founder of Kalos and founder of the online HVAC School (hvacrschool.com) training website, the event attracted attendees, instructors and exhibitors from throughout the United States.
Limited to 200 enrolled attendees and an unlimited number of virtual subscribers, the Symposium featured over 30 speakers with most of the classes conducted from 8am to 5pm Thursday and Friday. The sessions were held in four venues – the main tent, inside the residential and commercial warehouses and one classroom. Several of the companies represented conducted demonstrations of their products under tents alongside the warehouse buildings. A reduced number of classes were held on Saturday and the event was open for area HVAC technicians to visit with the expanded number of company representatives that participated in the day’s product showcase.
Virtual and in-person ticket holders were provided access to the online content for 30 days after the event.
“We are really pleased with the turnout this year and appreciate the positive feedback we’ve received from the attendees,” Bryan stated. “Thank you to the speakers and our sponsors and a special shout-out to the many Kalos volunteers that assisted with the logistics and hosting that made the event possible.”
