Aaron and Company is Proud to Announce the Addition of Paul Martino as President
Martino will succeed Barry Portnoy as president, who will stay on as CEO. Paul will be joining the executive team comprised of CFO/COO Anthony Conte and Vice Presidents Lindsey Portnoy Rodner, Michael Laudino, John Provenzano and Kevin Manning.
Before joining Aaron and Company, Martino was Director of Vendor Relations at Hajoca Corporation. Prior to that, he served in management roles at New England-based wholesaler The Granite Group as well as New Jersey-based plumbing and PVF wholesaler Grant Supply.
“I’m excited, I really enjoy working with a team and the team at Aaron & Company has a great reputation, as I’m getting to know everyone and touring the branches, I already feel like I am part of something special.” Martino said.
“Paul knows our industry, knows distribution, knows how to treat people right.” said Barry Portnoy, CEO of Aaron and Company “We are fortunate to have a person of Paul’s quality and capacity to join our team. Paul is fortunate to be able to work with one of the best teams in the business, with some of the finest people. It’s a win-win.”
Aaron and Company was founded in 1932 starting out as a single branch plumbing supply wholesaler in downtown New Brunswick, NJ. Under the ownership of the Portnoy and Laudino families Aaron & Company has grown to the company it is today, with 237 employees, 8 branches, 4 Aaron Kitchen and Bath Design Gallery Showrooms, and after the recent warehouse expansion a 141,700 sq. ft CDC facility.
With the addition of Martino to the executive team the 3rd generation of the Portnoy & Laudino families are excited to grow and plan our 90th Anniversary celebration in 2022.
