The counter days were held on Tuesday, July 9th at the Gretna store and on Wednesday, July 31st at the Harahan store. Lunch was served at each location and attendees were eligible to win a $50 door prize drawing each day. Rey Lopez of All Seasons Heating & Air was the winner in Gretna and Drew Hosli of Hosli Electric was the winner in Harahan.

The new kits feature the new and improved AR-GLO 5 brighter performance fluorescent dye, which is trusted by more HVAC/R OEM’s than any other brand on the market. The most popular seller is the EZ-Ject Kit, which of course comes with the EZ-Ject dye injector and the new violet light LED leak detection lamp with the anti-roll cuff.

New products were also displayed such as the GLOSEAL which combines the COOLSEAL leak sealer with the AR-GLO 5 dye and provides ongoing sealing and leak detection. The Acid-Buster was also on display. It is twice as concentrated as competitive solutions and works with all refrigerants and lubricants. All these products can be added to an operating system using with the EZ-Ject dye injector.

FDC’s Brandon Colombo concisely stated, “Spectronics Corporation invented fluorescent leak detection in 1955. Their OEM approved fluorescent dyes are co-solvent free and can safely remain within an AC&R system without causing any harm. Since co-solvents harmfully change the lubricant properties of refrigerant oil which can lead to premature wear and outright damage, being co-solvent free is a ‘must’ for any leak detection dye.”
