Johnstone Supply – The JTeam and Cramer Group Joint 2020 Dealer Meeting
Johnstone Supply- The JTeam Group based out of Raleigh, NC and The Cramer Group based out of Knoxville, TN had their joint 2020 Coleman Dealer Meeting in January, at the Historic Omni Homestead Resort, located in Hot Springs, Virginia and hit another home-run!
This 2-day event brought in over 150 attendees, over 40 manufacturer representatives, management and a full salesforce from both owner groups covering locations in North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. Several Johnstone Supply Corporate personnel, David Laxton, President of the JTeam Group and Tod Cramer, President of the Knoxville Group, were on hand and employees to facilitate the guests.
Dealers experienced a full blown vendor trade show that showcased leading industry products and support services from Johnstone Supply, Coleman, Operation Homefront, FTL Finance, Aspen Manufacturing, UEi Test Instruments, Daikin, Viega, Honeywell Home Resideo, Nidec US Motors, Purolator, Comfort-Aire, Arzel Zoning, Robertshaw, SE Logo Wear, Testo, Copeland, White-Rogers Emerson, Packard, RightTek HVAC Training, Valve & Meter, Nu-Calgon, Fujitsu, Southwark Metal, DiversiTech, JB Industries, Amana, First Co, CPS, ACE Chemicals and TurboTorch.
There were raffles and an auction for gift cards, tools, and much more from the vendors. In addition, there was casino night where guests could enjoy the many casino games setup in the banquet hall with all proceeds going to Operation Homefront.
Dealers took in a full day of education and professional development kicked off by Johnstone Supply with industry updates and best practices, with breakout sessions from Daikin, Amana, Goodman, Coleman, Fujitsu, along with more informative and educational sessions. This provided attendees with an array of options and resources from products, contractor programs, trainings and marketing to help dealers become more successful.
Guest speaker, Vivian Dietrich, a Senior Director of Operation Homefront, shared a real-life look at the overwhelming hardships that our nation’s military families face today, their mission, and how the programs and assistance that Operation Homefront provides to military families such as food assistance and transitional housing are helping to fill these needs.
Dealers, staff and guests then enjoyed a formal cocktail hour, banquet and awards ceremony. A few words from both David Laxton, President of the JTeam Group and Tod Cramer, President of the Knoxville Group expressing the gratitude to their dealers, staff, guest and vendors for a successful dealer meeting and year and dealers from both groups where then called to the stage one by one and presented awards from Johnstone Supply, Coleman, Nu-Calgon and Honeywell Home Resideo.
Operation Homefront was also called to the stage and presented with contributions from an auction held by the Johnstone JTeam.
David Laxton came to the stage to close out the night and give a final thanks to all who supported Operation Homefront and/or military families by donating their time, love and funds to other charitable organizations for our country’s military.
Vendors, staff, guests and dealers alike couldn’t seem to say enough about how great this event truly was. By all accounts it was not only very elaborate, but well planned, entertaining, informative and fun for everyone! Special thanks to Jennifer Hunt, Johnstone JTeam for coordinating the event.
