Johnstone Supply the Ware Group hosted their first, and apparently only, customer appreciation event of the season at their Sanford location on March 10, 2020. Attendance was not greatly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic though the rest of the open houses were eventually cancelled due to concern for customers’ and employees’ health.

Brian Orr of HVACRSchool.com kicked off the morning with his presentation of “Installation Mistakes that Kill Systems”, a class discussing the basic procedures to be followed when installing equipment. He stressed to “Observe the entire system, diagnose all the issues and test the system fully. Follow a process to ensure you don’t miss anything silly.”

Over 25 vendor representatives were on hand, highlighting new products, performing demonstrations, discussing industry trends and providing resources.

As usual, attendees received terrific door prizes and samples along with a raffle entry for a variety of prizes including a big-screen TV, GoPro camera and Fitbit activity tracker. Hill’s BBQ continued a decades-long tradition of catering the delicious lunch.
