BROOKFIELD (Jun. 5, 2024) – John Muraski has been named President of CornerStone One, a Brookfield-based company that specializes in commercial plumbing, commercial HVAC, earthwork and site utilities servicing Southeastern Wisconsin.

Muraski takes over as President, replacing founder Steve Adkins in overseeing daily operations. Adkins will remain as Principal of CornerStone One, focusing on long-term vision and company strategy. Jason Pampuch will take on the role of Partner, continuing in his leadership role within the interior plumbing division.

Adkins founded, then CornerStone Plumbing, in 2003 in the garage of his home. The company grew its service offerings to include site utilities in 2005 and later earthwork in 2018. After expanding its services, the company changed its name to CornerStone One in 2018 to better reflect its breadth of work and capabilities. In 2020, the company introduced a commercial HVAC division, making it a full-service commercial site building resource from pre-planning to engineering to implementation.

Muraski (42) joined CornerStone One in 2017 and most recently served as Director of Plumbing. His experience is extensive, from serving his state of Wisconsin Plumbing  Apprenticeship shortly after graduating High School, to holding a Master Plumber license today. In his career, Muraski gained expert-level experience in manufacturing, sales and plumbing. Upon joining CornerStone One, Muraski took the lead on projects including St. Camillus Tower, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, Komatsu North American Headquarters, Rite-Hite World Headquarters and Baird Center expansion.
