Solar Sighting in LaPlace

October 15, 2018

Mark Landry and Danny Millet at the Solar Supply store in LaPlace are seeing a change in the HVACR industry that is surprising to them. Mark explains, “our customers typically don’t like change, especially when it comes to something as basic as their charging gauges. Recently, however, we have seen many of them upgrade to a wireless manifold gauge. They don’t like change, but they see the extra benefits that they are getting from the wireless gauges and that makes the difference. We have had a lot of success with the SMAN460 wireless four-port digital manifold, which is the top-of-the-line Fieldpiece manifold.”

Mark continued, “Our dealers like its rugged design, but what makes them change is that the SMAN460 has more features and benefits than any other manifold on the market. It has target superheat automatically calculated, along with simultaneous superheat and subcooling. In addition, all nine measurements are displayed on the large, easy-to-read screen. It also has wireless measurements for real-time system diagnosis and charging. It makes it easier for the serviceman.”

Danny Millet added, “our customers like it because it can perform a wireless transfer of the Job information back to their shop, so they can easily update their records, also they like that the SMAN460 is compatible with their other Fieldpiece tools.”
