Trane dealers from the North and South Florida Districts attended a dealer appreciation golf tournament and food drive at Mission Inn Resort & Club in Howie-In-The Hills, FL on October 18, 2018. More than 1,600 pounds of food items were donated to benefit the Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.

Thirty teams of golfers battled on the links, enjoying a day of friendly competition and camaraderie. An awards banquet concluded a day of friendly competition and networking on the greens.

The field was split into three flights to accommodate all the golfers, with awards given to the top three teams in each flight. Winners were: Flight 3 – Scott Kibler, Dan Kyser, Patrick Laughlin and Chris Turner; Flight 2 – JC Costeira, Mitch Neal and Gary and Jordan Sheffield; Flight 1 – Scott Denty, Tony Longo, John Plescher and Bryan Stotts. A “Best Opportunity to Improve” Award was shared by teams Ervin Gega, Luis Arias and Lek Gioka and Dexter Wilson, Robert Logan, Brandon Nix and Matthew Martin.

Closest to the Pin Winners were Kelly Dillon and David Cates. Justin Miller captured Longest Drive Honors.
Lyndon Cook, Trane HVAC and Supply Northeast/Southeast Sales Director, John Jensen, South Florida Trane District General Manager, John Higgins, North Florida Trane District General Manager and their team of Trane representatives ensured that everyone enjoyed themselves.

“Today was all about you,” John Higgins stated at the beginning of the awards presentation. “Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your businesses and working so hard in supporting us. We hope you enjoyed the day and look forward to doing it again in 2019!”
