Duct Design and Zoning Training by A/C Supply
On April 16 and 17 A/C Supply held a two-day residential duct design and residential zoning class at their Harahan training center. Attendees were eligible to receive 8 hours of NATE credits.

Eric Weiss, a technical trainer with Learning Resources facilitated the classes. Mr. Weiss has over 25 years of HVAC experience as a technician, a HVAC business owner, as well as an FSR and New Product Development Specialist with American Standard.
The class attendees were instructed in designing a duct system per Manual D. Mr. Weiss emphasized the importance of air flow for proper system operation and what can affect static pressure and air flow.
In the zoning design section, Mr. Weiss explained how zoning design differs from a conventional system design. Zone system troubleshooting and how to manage excess air were covered as well as troubleshooting.
