Johnstone Supply – The JTeam & Cramer Group Joint 2019 Dealer Meeting Exceeded Expectations

Johnstone Supply – The JTeam Group based out of Raleigh, NC and The Cramer Group based out of Knoxville, TN had their joint 2019 Coleman Dealer Meeting on January 16th thru the 18th, at the Historic Omni Grove Park Inn, located in Ashville, NC and hit a home-run!

This 2-day event brought in over 150 attendees, over 40 manufacturer representatives, management and a full salesforce from both owner groups covering locations in NC, VA & TN. Several Johnstone Supply Corporate staff including the newly appointed John Tisera, CEO, Derek Morgan, General Manager of HVAC Equipment and Dana Jacovetti, Regional Sales Director also attended.

Dealers experienced a full blown vendor trade show that showcased leading industry products and support services from Johnstone Supply, Coleman, Operation Homefront, FTL Finance, Aspen Manufacturing, UEi Test Instruments, Daikin, Viega, Honeywell Home Resideo, Nidec US Motors, Purolator, Comfort-Aire, Arzel Zoning, Robertshaw, SE Logo Wear, Testo, Copeland, White-Rogers Emerson, Packard, RightTek HVAC Training, Valve & Meter, Nu-Calgon, Fujitsu, Southwark Metal, DiversiTech, JB Industries, Amana, First Co, CPS, ACE Chemicals and TurboTorch.

They received raffle prizes such as gift cards, tools, and much more from the vendors. Amazing dueling pianist who took request and played crowd favorites, a custom craft beer wall complete with an attendant who shared tid-bits about the local area breweries at Elaine’s Dueling Piano Bar.

Dealers took in a full day of education and professional development kicked off by Johnstone Supply and Coleman with industry updates, best practices, Coleman Dealer Success Programs and the new Johnstone Supply AHRI System Match Tool. Fujitsu, Valve & Meter, NuCalgon, RightTek Training, and Honeywell Home Resideo continued to further provide dealers with an array of options and resources from products, contractor programs, trainings and marketing to help dealers become more successful.
Navy SEAL Motivational Speaker, Behavioral Training Specialist and David Rutherford of Froglogic delivered a powerful message encouraging the room to embrace fear, forge their self-confidence, live the team live and to live with purpose.

Guest speaker, Vivian Dietrich, a Senior Director of Operation Homefront, shared a real-life look at the overwhelming hardships that our nation’s military families face today, their mission, and how the programs and assistance that Operation Homefront provides to military families such as food assistance and transitional housing are helping to fill these needs.

Dealers, staff and guests then enjoyed a formal cocktail hour, banquet and awards ceremony. A few words from both David Laxton, President of the JTeam Group and Tod Cramer, President of the Knoxville Group expressing the gratitude to their dealers, staff, guest and vendors for a successful dealer meeting and year and dealers from both groups where then called to the stage one by one and presented awards from Johnstone Supply, Coleman, Nu-Calgon and Honeywell Home Resido.

Operation Homefront was also called to the stage and presented with a $2,500 check from the JTeam Group, $850 from the raffle fundraiser during this 2 day event from attendees, $755 from Nu-Calgon a live auction and a $2,500 donation from Coleman bring the grand total of monies raised for Operation Homefront to $6,605.

David Rutherford of FrogLogic also returned to the stage to close out the night and give a final thanks to all who supported Operation Homefront and/or military families by donating their time, love and funds to other charitable organizations for our country’s military.

Vendors, staff, guests and dealers alike couldn’t seem to say enough about how great this event truly was. By all accounts it was not only very elaborate, but well planned, entertaining, informative and fun for everyone!
