Lincoln Tech Celebrates “Signing Day” with New Incoming Students
Lincoln Tech’s East Windsor campus, one of the northeast’s leading destinations for careers in the auto, diesel, collision, manufacturing and skilled trade fields, hosted a National Technical Letter of Intent Signing Day on February 20th from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. New students for the 2020-2021 school year took part in a signing ceremony, similar to an athletic signing.
This event was designed to honor students who have chosen to pursue a hands-on, technical education after high school.
“Signing Day” featured presentations by Lincoln Tech administrators and meet-and-greets with signees and educator guests. Campus tours were also available.
“By signing our incoming students to Letters of Intent, we’re telling them that we’ve reserved a place for them and are committed to their success,” said Kevin Clark, Campus President. “Technical education will prepare them for a strong career. Our industry partners are excited for the opportunity to meet these future workers at Signing Day.”
Area business leaders participated to show their support for technical education and for programs like those offered by Lincoln Tech. Students and family members had opportunities to interact with potential future employers and learn more about in-demand jobs in the transportation and skilled trades industries.
