Michael Cupp Announces Retirement
HVACR veteran Michael Cupp has announced his retirement from Cain Sales Company and the industry.
A Tampa, FL native, Michael attended college at Hillsborough Community College for three years and the University of South Florida for two years. He majored in architecture/engineering with a minor in composition and competed on the tennis team for both schools.
He began his HVACR career with wholesaler Cain and Bultman in Tampa right out of college.
“I worked my way up with the company in a variety of sales and management positions,” Michael stated. “I have enjoyed my 42 years in the parts and supply division of the industry, associated with some major distributors and well-known manufacturing lines.”
“Please join us in extending best wishes and congratulations to Michael on his retiring after 13 years of dedicated service as the Territory Manager to Central Florida,” stated Cain Sales Company President Michael Hollis. “Michael has been seen over the years at many HVAC events with a smile on his face and eager to answer your questions. He has forged strong partnerships and friendships in the HVAC community throughout Florida. These partnerships have helped our Company and the HVAC community become stronger and he has touched many lives in the process.”
“I will miss the relationships I have built over the years, both personal and business,” Michael concluded. “That is going to be the tough part. But this is not the end. . . .It’s only the beginning.”
Michael looks forward to spending his leisure time with his wife Carol, doing some writing and possibly participating in some local theater productions.
