Mike Venech has been named Venstar account manager for the Baker Distributing Company/Florida Cooling Supply Florida, south Georgia and south Alabama market area.

A native of Waldwick, NJ, Mike has lived in Florida since 1981. He studied Business Administration and Management at St. Leo University in St. Leo, Florida and has been in the HVACR industry since 1989.

“I started in sales with Tropic Kool Engineering in Largo, Florida, eventually advancing into service, test and balance and project manager,” Mike stated. “I operated my own company until 2008 then went to work as service manager for a commercial HVAC company. In 2011 I transitioned into the wholesale side of the industry, holding positions as national AC sales manager and SRM account manager with two major parts and equipment distributors.”
