Founded in 2019 as a manufacturer of high-quality air filters, air filtration products and equipment, Pamlico Air serves the United States with plans to grow operations nationwide. In addition to corporate offices in Washington, NC, we have established manufacturing facilities in Wilson, NC, Lake Wales, FL and Wichita Falls, TX. Our target markets include residential, commercial and industrial filtration customers served exclusively through wholesale distribution channels. Our customer-first and family-oriented principles make us professional yet personal in our business strategy. A large part of the legacy Pamlico Air is creating is reflected in the industry experience of the team members. The leaders of Pamlico Air have been in the industry, collectively, for more than 100 years.

Founder and CEO Travis Stephenson has over a decade of experience in the air filtration industry including as executive vice-president at another air filtration manufacturing company. In his past life, Travis was responsible for Sales, IT and Research and Development departments. His vast experience and leadership roles make Pamlico Air a front runner in the industry, despite being only a little over a year old.

President of Pamlico Air Charlie Kwiatkowski has been in the industry for more than 45 years alone. Charlie has worked with various filter manufacturing companies, building invaluable relationships with vendors and partners. His extensive knowledge and networking ability make him a great asset to our company and to the industry itself.

The most recent addition to the Pamlico Air leadership team is COO of the High Purity Division Shawn Windley. A NC native, Shawn holds a BS in Industrial Engineering and has over 25 years of experience in the air filtration industry. As leader of our High Purity Division, Corporate Engineering and Corporate R&D, Shawn and his team will generate innovative products and technologies empowering our customers to improve their environments, health, and well-being.

Our Director of Sales, Melissa Davidson, also has quite the resume. With more than 15 years of industry experience, Melissa has worked in roles ranging from customer service representative and inside sales account specialist all the way up to her current position, Director of Sales. She truly has a 360-degree perspective when it comes to being a member of a sales team and assisting customers. Melissa’s insight and experience helps ensure our sales team is top-notch and can take care of any issues that may evolve in the industry.

Pamlico Air is a customer-first and family-oriented organization. We believe in taking care of our customers like family and being personal yet professional. Having industry-known personnel also ensures a feeling of comfort when interacting with our sales team. Our sales leaders have been in the industry for more than 10 years each and it is likely that you will recognize their voices or remember their names. Pamlico Air sells its products through an exclusive network of experienced HVAC Manufacturer’s Sales Representatives and Distributors. Our partners provide local, expert Pamlico Air product support and customer service, creating a truly personal experience when using our products.

Along with the company itself and our well-known team, our product offering is growing. Pamlico Air’s High Purity Division, based out of Washington, N.C., is tasked with exploring and implementing ways to improve efficiencies, dust holding capacities and pressure drops in filtration as well as expanding products for specialized applications.

Moving forward, Pamlico Air will also expand westward, carrying our filter manufacturing processes to the western part of the United States within the year. The four existing locations and those in development have been chosen to ensure quick lead times and economic shipping costs as well as accessibility of products for our customers. As all the valuable puzzle pieces come together, Pamlico Air President Charlie Kwiatkowski has high hopes for the company and his team.

Charlie is eager to see the company he helped build continue to develop and prosper. Having been in the industry for quite a while, Charlie knows the ins and outs of manufacturing and selling air filters. “It’s an exciting time to be in the industry,” Charlie said. “The demand for better air quality is higher than ever with our current state [Covid-19] and being able to help people get what they need and helping employees provide for their families at the same time is a good thing. It’s a good feeling to work with a strong team and come out of the gate with all of the knowledge and experience we have when starting from scratch. I know we have some of the best folks in the industry working to build Pamlico Air and we will do great things with our reps and other partners.”
