RACCA Hosts 2020 Sporting Clays Tournament
The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Contractors Association (RACCA) of Tampa Bay hosted their 2020 Sporting Clays Tournament on May 30 at the Tampa Bay Sporting Clays facility in Land O’Lakes, FL. Over 70 shooters enjoyed the event, which started with a safety meeting at 8:45 a.m. with the competition running from 9 a.m. until noon.
Lunch, catered by Mission BBQ, took place in a large, open pavilion and featured pork or chicken sandwiches, green beans, mac-n-cheese, and a cookie served in individual containers and a selection of bottled beers, canned sodas, and bottled water. An awards presentation and raffle drawing accompanied the luncheon.
The Clenzoil team of Greg Booth, Scott Boise, Al Sedita and Will Bingham took 1st place in the competition. Ken Dilallo of Prime Air was the top male shooter and Lois Yassanye of Air Pro West Coast took top female honors. Randy Smith won the RACCA-sponsored raffle grand prize, winning $800 in Shooters World gift cards to spend on a gun or accessories of his choice.
Tournament sponsor R.E. Michel Company was joined by beverage sponsor Tropic Supply, breakfast sponsor Gray Flex Systems / Snap-Rite Manufacturing, Inc., lunch sponsors Honeywell Home, Griffin Service and Victor Distributing, trophy sponsor Service Tech and Yeti Cooler raffle prize sponsor Trane Supply.
“We thank all the competitors and our sponsors for supporting today’s event and appreciate the Tampa Bay Sporting Clays facility’s efforts to keep us safe by providing the clean, disinfected carts and hand sanitizing stations throughout the course and at the food venue/patio,” stated RACCA President Bryan Wade.
