The 1st Annual Southwest Louisiana HVACR Bass Club Fishing Tournament was held at Toledo Bend on March 23rd, 2019. The tournament kicked off at Lakefront Grocery off of Hwy 1215 with a breakfast sponsored by Thomas Supply Company.

After a full day of fishing, the weigh in was held back at Lakefront at 4pm. Following the weigh in, hamburgers and drinks were enjoyed to wrap up the first annual tournament. Bobby Thomas announced “We had a great turnout and we look forward to announcing the date of the 2020 tournament to be held next year.”

The first place stringer of 19.85 lbs was brought in by Mike Ingram and Robert Giles, both of Industrial Refrigeration. The winning stringer was caught in Housen Bay. Finishing in second place at 14.6 lbs was David and Lynn Miller, of Miller’s A/C. Rounding out the team leaderboard in third place was Paul and David Moreno, of Moreno’s A/C with 10.3 lbs. Robert Giles won the Big Bass category with a 6.15 lbs lunker. Robert also took home the ICP Keep Rite Big Bass Bonus.
