Remember rule number one: you’re not in control of anything, lol. You think you are, but you’re not, if history teaches us anything. There are way too many variables in the equation for a predictable outcome.

This old world we have the pleasure to be a part of, has been turning on its axis for 4.543 billion years and will keep turning long after we are dust. We are only a blip in time – that’s the circle of life and nature we live in.

The current situation that we find ourselves in is no different than the people before us. This isn’t the first time our country hasn’t agreed on the control of our fates.

First of all, control is an illusion. Oh no, we are not in control of anything. We try to manage it the best we can, after all, we are only human.

We will continue to go through trials and tribulations as we always have had too. As a young cop I quickly learned a philosophy that stated, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.” Words to live by from an old mentor of mine.

Everything works out in the wash.

Keep the Faith!
